Clarksville Spanish Academy Mission

Clarksville Spanish Academy

Clarksville is home to over 110,000 residents in Montgomery County, Tennessee. Of the population, over 6,000 people are of Hispanic or Latino descent, and over 4,000 regularly speak Spanish in the home.

Although it has developed the nickname, “The Queen City”, Clarksville was originally named after American Revolutionary War hero George Rogers Clark. Today the city is also the home of Fort Campbell Air Force Base, as well as Austin Peay State University. The oldest newspaper in Clarksville, the Leaf Chronicle, has been around since 1869.

For a fun and educational experience with your student or child, head over to the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center, featuring exhibits in history, science, and the arts. You’ll also find a host of special events aimed at child-parent interaction, so you can make the most out of your day out.

If you value bilingualism in Clarksville, check out some of the programs we have available. It’s never too early to start engaging your child’s interest in Spanish.

As a Clarksville parent or educator, what do you value most in the educational experience? What do you hope for your child to take away from our program? Please take a minute and leave us some feedback.
